Job Description:

The Office of Public Affairs at the State University of New York at Oswego seeks a full-time writer/editor who can craft clear, concise, compelling copy for a range of college communications in print and online.  Appointment will be for two years with the possibility of extension.  Duties will include writing newsletter articles, news releases and publications and Web copy; copy editing and proofreading; and posting copy and photographs online using a content management system.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; two years of experience related to the above duties preferred.  Required Skills:  excellent interviewing, writing, proofreading and copy editing skills, including familiarity with AP Style; ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment; and desire to work in an intellectually stimulating campus environment.  CMS, InDesign and Photoshop experience preferred.
